Product Introduction
Profiles are objects with specific geometric shapes made of iron, steel, or materials with certain strength and toughness through processes such as rolling, extrusion, and casting. Such materials have definite external dimensions, specific cross-sectional shapes, and certain mechanical and physical properties. Profiles can be used alone or further processed into other finished products, and are widely applied in the fields of building structures, manufacturing, and installation. Mechanical engineers can select parameters such as the specific shape, material, heat treatment state, and mechanical properties of the profiles according to the design requirements. Then, the profiles are cut according to the specific dimensional and shape requirements, and subsequently further processed or heat-treated to achieve the precision required by the design. There are mainly the following five common classification methods for profiles: 1. Classification by production method: According to the production method, profiles can be divided into hot-rolled profiles, cold-formed profiles, cold-rolled profiles, cold-drawn profiles, extruded profiles, forged profiles, hot-bent profiles, welded profiles, and specially rolled profiles, etc. 2. Classification by cross-sectional characteristics: According to the cross-sectional shape, profiles can be classified into profiles with simple cross-sections and profiles with complex cross-sections. Profiles with simple cross-sections have symmetrical cross-sections and relatively uniform and simple external shapes, such as round steel, wire rods, square steel, and flat steel, etc. Profiles with complex cross-sections, also known as profiles with special-shaped cross-sections, are characterized by obvious convex and concave branches in the cross-section. Therefore, they can be further subdivided into flanged profiles, multi-step profiles, wide and thin profiles, profiles with local special processing, irregular curved profiles, composite profiles, periodic cross-section profiles, and metal wires, etc. 3. Classification by using department: According to the using department, profiles can be divided into profiles for railways (rail tracks, fishplates, rails for turnouts, wheels, and wheel tires), profiles for automobiles (rims, tire retaining rings, and lock rings), profiles for shipbuilding (L-shaped steel, bulb flat steel, Z-shaped steel, and steel for ship window frames), profiles for structures and buildings (H-shaped steel, I-beams, channel steel, angle steel, crane rails, materials for window frames and door frames, steel sheet piles, etc.), steel for mines (U-shaped steel, channel side steel, I-beams for mines, scraper steel, etc.), and special profiles for mechanical manufacturing. 4. Classification by cross-sectional size: According to the cross-sectional size, profiles can be divided into large-sized, medium-sized, and small-sized profiles. The division is usually determined according to whether they are suitable for rolling on large-sized, medium-sized, and small-sized rolling mills respectively. In fact, the distinction between large-sized, medium-sized, and small-sized is not very strict. In addition, there is also a classification method by unit weight (kg/m). Generally speaking, profiles with a unit weight of less than 5 kg/m are small-sized profiles, those with a unit weight between 5 and 20 kg/m are medium-sized profiles, and those with a unit weight exceeding 20 kg/m are large-sized profiles. We are professional manufacturers of electrical cabinet profiles, providing processing techniques for electrical cabinet profiles, wholesale of electrical cabinet profiles in batches, and offering favorable prices.
